Detailed Product Description
Vat yellow G is Brown powder or granules. It can not dissolve in water, ethanol, chloroform and toluene,slightly melts in o-chloro phenol, pyridine,can be dissolved in hot nitrobenzene. It displays blue in reductive liquid of alkaline sodium dithionite and in reductive liquid of acidic sodium dithionite displays green. It is dark orange in concentrated sulfuric acid, while after diluting producing yellow precipitate. This product is weak brittle fabric variety. Its shade is old yellow. Its color is weaker than the vat golden GOK. It is hard to oxdize. After soaping the color will change. It can be used for dyeing cotton pad and suspended solids also can be disseminated to the cotton yarn. It can be directly printed and discharge printed. It is suitable for dyeing and printing of PVA or cotton blended fabrics. It can be processed into organic pigments.
